This tutorial will show you how to get more advanced navigation in iWeb. Navigation such as custom rollovers, drop down menus, and more. It’s the ultimate tutorial on getting a new navigation that goes far and beyond what the default is offered in iWeb. It’s a must see for any heavy iWeb user.

Dear iJason why in the izzymenu when clicking on a link in the menu it opens the window in another window but dose not stay within the same window that it starts with. look at my site and even see.
-Please Help-
It’s a matter of changing the target of the URL. _blank will open in a new window. Try changing the link targets to _top, that should open the link in the same window. If you don’t see the target tag in there you might have to add it. The link would look something like this:
<a href=”http://www.yoursite.com/yourpage/” title=”The title of the page” rel=”nofollow”>Your Link Button</a>
This is a great tutorial, but the issue I am having is my navigation menus are not listed at the top one next to the other. I have them listed on the left hand side one on top of the other. Is there a way to get a drop down menu that will move the lower menus down when highlighting to get the sub-menus or some other work around so the sub-menus don’t open on top of the lower “actual” menus?
Thanks for ur kindness, appreciate! : )
I am trying to learn how to do 1) Drop Down Menu without HTML Snippet: from your site, however, the long portion of the code that you demonstrate in the video is no longer on you site; http://iwebunlimited.com/2009/iweb-tips/iweb-tip-16-navigation-menus-in-iweb/. Can you please tell me how to get that long portion of the code so that I can attempt the process you describe. Thank you.
Hi, I am really enjoying your website.
I would love to create some nice drop down buttons like you have done on your website.
I tried your dropdowns but they ended up in the right top corner, not under the button, and I really don’t like having to update the file every time I publish, as that is fairly frequently with a blog etc on my site.
Look forward to your reply.
