I downloaded the zip for Anything slider, but the html folder with the codes was not part of the zip file. Is it possible to send me a separate anything slider.html file with the codes. Thanks

You could have the wrong directory path entered. You would need to verify the directory path with your web hosting provider.

You don’t need transmit you can use the built in FTP publishing in iWeb SEO Tool.

I am trying to get my favicon file onto my published website. I used iWeb to build it, and little oak for hosting. Little Oak hosting does not allow me to place anything at the root level. I have Transmit, and I tried planting the favicon.ico file in the file folders for the individual pages, but that didn’t seem to do anything. Do you have any suggestions I can try?

You mentioned using Transmit …
is that critical?
I am publishing my site to a folder.
Then, through iWeb SEO I publish my site.
Can I move the folders into that folder on my computer?

iWeb and beyond; you are AMAZING and thats not a term I use very often – quality of advice sets the standard – and btw why exactly are apple giving up on a website building software – perhaps websites arent relevant to a technology company (!). We have word processing applications out there that serve a purpose – for beginners and pro’s alike – because we need to communicate – arent websites a way to communicate – personal or commercial – and iWeb does that beautifully and allows us to connect which is what, for most people, technology is about.

This is the best information ever! You guys ROCK!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge,

I’ve been trying to to this highslide for 4 days now and not successful at all. when I go to Tip #14 it does not have “highslide for web modified” So i downloaded directly from the link. Everything goes on my desktop. However, when i add the highslide folder to the site, it does not give me an HTML page to edit. Am I doing something wrong. This website is AMAZING! But, I am not having any luck with this one. I’ve watched the video about 18 times already and no luck.

What I did instead, I went onto the HTML where my images are and tried to edit in textedit, I can replace the 1st replacement, but when i hit find for the 2nd replacement it does not find anything.

Please Help ME !!!!!

I have a question and hoping that someone can help me out.

I’ve chosen to add your Pikachoose Slider on my website. Thank you for your generosity. I’ve followed your every instructions, watched the video 3 times in the past hours and when i copy and paste the HTML edited code onto Iweb’s HTNL snippets, nothing but a clear square with black dots shows up.

What am i doing wrong????

For some reason does the Jquery slider not work… I placed a test on this link :http://www.fastfocuss.nl/Publicaties.html and the images do not appear. Anyone an idea how this is possible? I uploaded the images with ‘transmit’ and edited the code to the correct links (at least, I think so ;-))

Hello, If I don’t want to add text over the picture and I just erase the text, I get a gray square over my picture that I can’t delete.

I would like to insert a textbox in an iweb page which would navigate the user to another page in the site based on his input to the textbox. I assume this will be a snippet/widget and I am prepared to learn some applescript or javascript or whatever (how bout some Fortran!! That’s what I started to learn!) if it isn’t too far off the chain. Thanks for this easy-to-use site!

Hey, so I created the buttons in photoshop, when through all the steps fine but what I notice is when ever I goto my website… the buttons are not visible until my mouse rolls over them… I don’t know why it does that and is there any way that I can stop that?

I have tried to add the follow me Pinterest button, and when I put the code in the HTML box, all it comes up is A blue hyperlink that takes me to my pinterest page, it doesn’t look like the Pinterest button that should appear. Am I doing something wrong?
