Wie kan mij helpen met Iweb ? Ik wil een site die ik met I web heb gemaakt, overhevelen naar een andere computer en daar verder in werken. Maar dat lukt me niet. Ik heb iets met domain gedaan, maar dat pakt de andere computer niet. HELP!!!

I have recently wiped my macbook to install Lion and in the process have managed to lose all of my websites from the left hand navi bar in iWeb. They are still in my iDisk/web folder, but how can i import them so i can continue editing them!

Possibly a really silly question… but need help!

I would just create the galleries in iPhoto and then display them in a photo galleries page using iWeb.

That feature will just be taken out of iPhoto when MobileMe is done (if it has not been taken out already. I’m using an older version so I’m not totally sure).

Hi Jeremy, I love your website! I have already set up a different host for my iweb sites but I am concerned about all of the links that I have used to my mobileme galleries. Do you have a suggestion for a good photo manager that I can link my web page photo galleries to? By the way, what will Apple do with iphoto and its feature to share photos on a mobileme gallery?

I utilized your great method for managing multiple sites but I’ve run into a problem.After I remove the site folder from the iWeb folder, I don’t have it anymore. Once I save and publish the site to a local folder, all of the elements are in a Firefox users folder, not an iWeb source format. It appears I’ve basically lost my elements.
How can I convert these elements back into an iWeb site folder so I can work on my site?

Could you help me ?I try to link two iFrames together in iweb. for example. there is a link on a page in one iFrame and I would like that link to open inside of the other iFrame. I know that this can be done but don’t know how to embed it in to iweb.

If Apple does intend to kill off iWeb for good, why not donate the software to an open source group. At least then, customers who depend on iWeb would have a longer term solution. What a great gesture this would be for a company who’s lately been dealing with difficult public relations issues (worker conditions in China, etc.).

I am not using iDisk because it wont allow me to use mobile me.

Hello People and Iweb unlimited I want to know which one of these sliders can you change css file to make it fit larger images like 450 x 1000 pixels or something. I was trying to change the pikachoose slider and could not figure out completley. Please Help really need to figure this out.

All you do to publish a new site via FTP is go into iWeb, and where you would normally post a site using mobileme or something (Under ‘Site Publishing Settings” (just click on your site on the left toolbar to get there) is choose ‘Publish To: FTP Server’ (Instead of MobileMe or Local Folder) That is where you put in your godaddy credentials. Under FTP server settings, you enter http://ftp.yourdomainexample.com, then enter your login and password for your godaddy hosting service. Leave the Directory/Path line blank.

Whatever page you want to put the search box in, add an HTML Snippet and paste the code google gives you for the search bar. Then create either a results page or new site and add an HTML Snippet for the other code google gave you for the results box. (I tried putting my results on the same page as the search box and just put both on a new page called ’search’…still waiting to see if it worked.)
