I have got audio on my site, set up with iweb, but have noticed that it doesn't come through on the iphone. I presume that this will also be the case for ipad. with the immenent release of ipad and the popularity of iphone I feel that my site needs to cater for the ever increasing number of mobile devices that we will all be using. Does anyone know how to do this? I have even tried making a bare site with my audio on it with iweb, but still doesn't play on iphone. All suggestions welcome. Thanks

No audio will autoplay on the iPhone. It will play MP3's and other similar audio formats, but it's a per click basis. Make sure you use the built in player that iWeb has for the mp3's, meaning just drag and drop your mp3 onto your page, then it will be playable on an iPhone, but they have to click to play it, that's just the way it is.

Thanks Jason. I'd finally just found same info on apple website where it goes through stuff about testing your site for ipad. Apparently autoplay is set to off due to the fact that these devices can be 3g and hence autoplaying media can chew up a users data/money, fair enough I guess, but would be nice if the browsers could detect if the device was on 3g or wifi and only drop content if 3g was being used. I think most users would be on wifi alot of the time, either at home, office, public areas. Mostly only browsing with 3g when in a 'cool spot' (no wifi).
