Hi,
I have a few questions regarding your "iWeb and comments" video.
I want to add the Disqus system to my website in time for the 2nd season of my webradio show called Gatinorama.
I watched your video and decided to go with Disqus and the "non-iFrame" option.
I opened my account at Disqus and tried today a test page (see link at http://www.gatinorama.com/GATINORAMA/%C3%A9pisodes/Entr%C3%A9es/2010/2/1_%C3%89pisode_N%C2%B00____%C3%87a_fait_trop_mal_de_r%C3%AAver.html).
I have a few issues:
1-On your video, there was no need to change the "universal code" provided by Disqus. However, in my case, I was told to add my "disqus_shortname". I was also given to option to add a "disqus_identifier" and a "disqus_url". Is that a new feature since your video first aired ?
2-I tried adding the code in a snippet and adding all three coding options and iWeb refused to publish it. If i add only the shortname, then I get the Disqus logo in iWeb and the publication works.
3-After publication however, I have the following problems:
-The font is something like 'Times New Roman' --not the font I see in other sites.
-The snippet seems to be too small for some of the dialog bubbles. For example, go to my page and try the 'like' button. It will be partially invisible. It is not a big deal, but it is more problematic when I am trying to use my administrator options.
Sorry with the long message, but I hope it can benefit other users as well. I am looking forward to reading you.
Many thanks,
s.
