How to change Header Code??

I have made my site using iWeb and I am happy with how it looks.
I have checked on a mac running firefox as the browser and it looks fine. However when I check it on a PC running Internet Explorer certain sections I overlapped and certain pictures are incorrectly sized and aligned.

I have been told that I need to add some code into at the top of the Header Code so that the placements and dimensions adjust accordingly for Internet Explorer.
Can you please tell me:
A. If it is possible to edit the code for the site header?
B. If so then how do I access the code?

I would appreciate any help.

If you give the link to your website then it would allow someone, like me, to better help you. Typically with IE, you need to what I call, "over adjust" your text boxes and images. Give plenty of room between an image and textbox. Alot of times, the text inside the box will extend vertically causing the space given to the text shown differently in firefox/safari and IE.

However, to answer your questions.

A. Yes you can edit any page of your website using a HTML editor (textedit works)

B. You can find your html files by publishing your website to a local folder, edit then publish using a FTP application. Or if using MobileMe, then your website will be located on your idisk. Usually found at idisk Volume/web/Sites/sitename

right click on the file and open with your html editor. Like I mentioned earlier, textedit works and many others like Coda or text wrangler etc.

Sorry for the late reply, I have been away.
I will try to adjust the box sizes of my taxt and see how that helps.
