So I select a general theme in iWeb and give it a black page.
I set the page width and height in the inspector but when I bring text and images into my page, the page does something funny. It expands (in height only) and there seems to be an area that is highlighted in a blue box whenever I try to bring something into this area.
So does anyone else have this problem because its really annoying that I cant get all my pages to stay the same size.
iWeb basically has pre-made sections (or regions). I honestly don't know how to explain this very well... I have just learned to work around it. I've noticed that adding a text box pushes the main section of the screen down, so if it makes your page longer than you want after you've resized it, probably just readjust the dimensions. Scharadl, Here's what is going on. iWeb separates pages into 3 sections; header, content, and footer. In the inspector you can see the height adjustments for each of these areas. Some items can pass very easily from one area to another, and other's (like text boxes) you need to know a little trick. I've posted the trick on the MicroTips Video page, but the tip is to hold the command key down as your dragging items (like text boxes) from one area to another and they'll be able to jump the border with no problem.
