I have created a website with shadows and reflections on lots of the images. When I publish from iweb to my server these special effects don't show up. also, the navigation bar is missing. I was going to try to change my non websafe fonts by making them images with shadows but since the shadows don't seem to be transferring I don't see how that will work.
dke4art, what browser are you using where these effects do not show up? I have had a lot of trouble with Internet Explorer and somewhat with Firefox in this issue....However, if you are not very attached to your shadows then their is something that you could do to make sure that your other effects show up. (This gets rid of your shadows, but gurantees everything else to look great) To do this 1. Select Shadow (in the graphic inspector) on the object you are having a problem with. 2. Then set both the Offset and Blur to 0. 3. The last step is to set the shadow opacity to 5%. This is basically an easy way for the internet to know that it is an object. It is just an idea.....
