Just joining in the eCommerce discussion. I'm looking to put a shopping cart onto my iWeb site where I am selling a limited range of products and don't know which one to choose and whether it will work in iWeb. I want to offer people the choice of making direct deposits or using Paypal option (which I have installed - kaykrueger - it is not too difficult, get onto Paypal site and sign up for an account, create your buttons (buy now/add to cart) and copy the code into a widget on your iWeb site).
IwebUnlimited - thanks for all your hard work on this site. All the Apple experts keep referring to your site. Please please get to the eCommerce tips soon.
I would just create a PayPal shopping cart. It will most likely be the simplest process for you. Here is a video tutorial which will demonstrate how.

That is a good link for the PayPal option. Any ideas for setting up a shopping cart so people can direct deposit...? What do I need to look for if I decide to buy a shopping cart - I'm a little mesmerized by the PHP/SQL/etc language. Any help would be really appreciated.
I'm not entirely sure about direct deposit. PayPal is essential direct deposit, the only difference is they can't whip out their bank card and pay, they need to have a PayPal account.
I wouldn't venture into something as difficult as direct deposit. PayPal should suffice as most people already have an account.
