I am a iWeb fanatic and just found out from your site that you can use flash in iWeb! This is the greatest news. I am just having trouble doing so because I do not have a MobileMe or .Mac account. How would I go about putting the flash into iWeb with a ftp or is there no way?
I have flash in my iWeb site, & I publish with ftp.
What I did was upload all the necessary info into my ftp. When you go to put the html snippet code in, make sure your paths are all correct. I used the same snippet that's offered from this site (http://iwebunlimited.com/2008/iweb-tips/tip-1-flash-in-iweb/), but resized.

I couldn't get flash to work on my site either...i would upload the html, fix all necessary code, and would get a black box. I think that i did something wrong in the process...how do you upload the info to your ftp?
To upload info to your FTP you need an FTP application. I recommend going to Panic Softwares website and download an app called Transmit. Then with that you can connect to your server (your web host will provide the login information) much like you connect to a hard drive. You can then start uploading your files. See my video tutorials, they will help you see how an FTP app works.
