Video Tutorial-Highslide in iWeb

Highslide JS is a great way to get that ever so popular image zoom effect just like the fancy zoom post I’ve done in the past. The difference is, is that this one will give you the ability to zoom more than just images. Though FancyZoom is a bit more light weight, there are some great advantages to Highslide. This tutorial will need the use of an HTML editor like Coda, Espresso, Dreamweaver, even TextEdit. You’ll also be using the tips page for the code reference and download which can be found here.

Cool Tutorial ! thank you very much … I used to use Shadow Box which works pretty much the same …
but I still have one question … everytime that I put a new pic, I must redo all the codes (title= …>) again ?!??
If I have 30 pcis, that would be a lot of job everytime! Is there anyway to not have to redo all the codes?! Thanks again!

Hi! It worked perfectly when I use 1 picture only, just like in the tutorial. When I add a second picture, it doesnt work, not the first pic or the second. Help?

Hey this is a great tutorial. I was just wondering if I would be able add it but not make it so people could drag and drop it. I just want it to be centered in the screen.
    Thanks

    Hello everybody,

This is the best information ever! You guys ROCK!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge,

I’ve been trying to to this highslide for 4 days now and not successful at all. when I go to Tip #14 it does not have “highslide for web modified” So i downloaded directly from the link. Everything goes on my desktop. However, when i add the highslide folder to the site, it does not give me an HTML page to edit. Am I doing something wrong. This website is AMAZING! But, I am not having any luck with this one. I’ve watched the video about 18 times already and no luck.

What I did instead, I went onto the HTML where my images are and tried to edit in textedit, I can replace the 1st replacement, but when i hit find for the 2nd replacement it does not find anything.

    Please Help ME !!!!!

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

    Giselle
