As we all know, iWeb, though fully functioning, is no longer being further developed by Apple. AllAboutiWeb has started a good discussion on what users would like to see in a potential iWeb alternate/replacement. I encourage everyone to head on over there and participate in that discussion. My source from AllAboutiWeb has told me there is a reason for this question, however, nothing has been confirmed, so it is just a rumour as of now.

your link in you tweet is broken
Thanks Jeff, it’s been fixed.
The one and only WYSIWYG functionality! Nobody does it better…
I wish there was a way to embed a flash video file using iweb. I’ve tried it your way, and beside the fact that I couldn’t get it to work, after continuing to read, it would do what I need it to do anyway. I need it to embed a video on my home page that will start when the webpage opens and loops as part of the header. I do not need any controls controls, I just want it showing different pictures in my header as a slideshow. How, or is this even possible in iWeb?
If you have someone that knows how to do this, I would love to know. I’ve been searching the web for two days and have found nothing. As good as iWeb is, this is ridiculously difficult. I’m no dummy, but I’m sure feeling like one right now. Please help if you can.
Thanks,
John
You can embed flash in iWeb using the HTML Snippet but you would need to upload the flash file to your FTP server. It may be a little technical. It is much easier using EverWeb. EverWeb is like iWeb with more features.
